Hampton aims to snap skid against West Allegheny

The Hampton football team will try and snap a four-game losing streak Friday night when the Talbots travel to West Allegheny for a nonconference contest.

Hampton is coming off Class 5A Northern Conference losses to North Hills, Fox Chapel, Kiski Area and Penn Hills.

Despite the recent skid, Hampton (2-5, 2-4) remains alive for a WPIAL playoff berth. The Talbots have just one conference game left, hosting Mars on Oct. 25.

West Allegheny (2-4) is coming off a 23-0 loss to Baldwin.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Imperial.
