Homecoming at Hampton offers full schedule of activities

Friday, September 20, 2019 | 12:01 AM

Hampton will take to the gridiron for their Homecoming game Sept. 20 against Fox Chapel at the Talbot Tailgate.

The tailgate features food, games and fun for the entire family. It will kick off at 3:30 p.m. in the rear parking lot of Hampton Middle School and last until the start of the football game. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors.

The varsity football game begins at 7 p.m. at Fridley Field, located across the street from Hampton Middle School. Tickets will be available online in advance and at the gates on game night. The Homecoming court will be introduced at halftime, followed by the crowning of the King and Queen.

Due to the limited parking at Hampton Middle School/Fridley Field, tailgaters are encouraged to park at the high school and take the shuttle bus. Shuttle buses will be operating from 3:45 until 10:15 p.m. Guests are advised that the Hampton Township police will ticket and/or tow any cars parked illegally.

The Homecoming dance will be held on Saturday night.

Hampton Alumni meet-and-greet

On Sept. 20, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Clubhouse (North Park Clubhouse) along Route 8, there will be a Hampton Alumni meet and greet for all Hampton graduates from any year.

The cost to attend is $10 and include appetizers.
