North Hills Community Outreach seeks Thanksgiving donations

North Hills Community Outreach seeks your help in putting a “Thanksgiving on Every Table.”

Items are being collected through Nov. 8.

Every year, NHCO distributes hundreds of complete Thanksgiving dinners to families in poverty, hardship

and crisis. You can help by holding a collection or donating any or all of the following items to help those

in need have a full dinner.

• grocery store gift card of at least $20 for a turkey

• large box of stuffing mix

• large box of instant mashed potatoes

• can of yams or cranberry sauce

• 2 cans of vegetables

• any dessert mix

• muffin mix (corn preferred)

• turkey gravy mix

• napkins

• gluten and allergen free items are also needed

Drop off donations Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the NHCO Main Office, 1975 Ferguson Rd., Allison Park. This location will also be open from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 2 for donations.

Donations can also be dropped off at NHCO North Boroughs Office, 939 California Ave (Greenstone United Methodist Church), Pittsburgh.

North Hills Community Outreach addresses the needs of people in crisis, hardship and poverty in Northern

Allegheny County.
