Tuesday, December 10, 2019 | 1:26 PM

St. Catherine of Sweden Parish on Wildwood Road in Hampton will celebrate the Christmas season with the annual “One Night in Bethlehem” family night Dec. 14.

The parish social hall is transformed into the marketplace of Bethlehem where families with children ages 2-10 visit the shops and stalls to create a variety of Christmas crafts, play games at the “Bethlehem Game Stop,” win prizes at the “Candy Cane,” and listen to Christmas stories in the stalls of the Book Barn. Cake and punch are served at Jesus’ Birthday Party.

There will be a Christmas stocking auction, treats at the Angel’s Bakery and olive wood treasures imported from Bethlehem. The evening concludes with an outdoor living Nativity scene, complete with live animals and a cast of Biblical characters.

Tickets are $6 per child and are available in the parish office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays or at www. stcatherineof sweden.org. Attendance is limited to the first 150 children registered.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free for adults and children under 2 with a donation of a baby item to benefit Lifeline of Southwestern PA.

The church is located at 2554 Wildwood Road, Allison Park.
