Children’s Gift Making party at Epworth United Methodist Church in Allison Park

The 19th annual Epworth Church Children’s Gift Making party will be held Dec. 8, beginning at 11:30 a.m. with a pizza lunch. It’s a time for children ages 3 to 12 to make 10 handcrafted gifts to give during the holiday season. The cost for each child to attend is $5 and each is asked to bring along a photo of themselves that is no larger than 4-inches-by-4-inches.

Crouse Run Nature Preserve benefits from Pitt Make A Difference Day
October 23, 2019
Forty students from the University of Pittsburgh were in Hampton to remove invasive species from Crouse Run Nature Preserve. The volunteers then planted native shrubs and berry bushes on Oct. 19 to improve the health of the preserve . It was part of the 12th annual Pitt Make A Difference Day where thousands of students volunteered to help their community in a variety of ways.
