Based on the Jack London classic, “The Call of the Wild” unfolds in the Yukon during the 1890s Klondike Gold Rush. The family-friendly story follows a St. Bernard/Scotch Collie dog, Buck, who is stolen from his home in California and sent to work as a sled dog.

“When experienced outdoorsman John Thornton (Harrison Ford) comes across the ill-treated Buck, he saves his life, and they go on the adventure of a lifetime together through some of the most beautiful terrain in the world,” says Common Sense Media. “The Call of the Wild looks thrilling, moving, and gorgeously shot…”

In the film, Buck is created through computer graphic imagery but retains the heart of a dog.
