Vince Riehl of Allison Park earned Boy Scouting’s highest rank when he successfully completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review on November 6, 2019. The son of Kara and Bob Riehl, Vince lead a team of youth and adult volunteers in constructing two bog bridges at Glade Run Conservancy. The bog bridges were designed to help protect the delicate bog ecosystem and mitigate erosion by letting hikers walk above the muddy terrain, allowing plants to grow in marshy areas without being trampled on.

A senior at Hampton High School, Vince has his sights set on a career in software development, robotics and engineering. He credits his time in Scouting for his rich interest in technology and the outdoors.
