Weekend happenings: Hampton Marching Band in PIMBA Championships

The Hampton High School Marching Band will compete in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association (PIMBA) Championships on Oct. 26, at Gateway High School, 3000 Gateway Campus Blvd, Monroeville.

The competition begins at 4 p.m., with Hampton taking the field at 8. Hampton will perform its halftime show, “From the Moon to Mars,” during the competition.

Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the door on the day of the event

BTA hosts Fall Craft, Vendor Fair

Blessed Trinity Academy will host its third annual Fall Craft and Vendor Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26 in Marian Hall (St. Mary of the Assumption Parish.) More than 40 vendors will be on hand selling a variety of goods. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Admission is $1 (children 12 and under free).

Trick or Treat Party

All ghouls, goblins, super heroes and princesses are invited to a Trick or Treat party at St. Catherine of Sweden Parish on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the parish social hall, 2554 Wildwood Road, Hampton.

There will be treats, pumpkin painting, hot dogs, cookies, cider, Halloween music and more.

Hampton Halloween party, parade

Hampton Township’s Halloween party and parade will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Hampton Community Center and Hampton Park. The parade and costume contest is for children 10 and under. After the parade, contest winners and raffle winners will be announced. Treat bags, refreshments and cookies will be available.
