Lantern Tours will be happening Oct. 19 and 26 at the Depreciation Lands Museum on S. Pioneer Road in Allison Park.

Mary Bliss Parsons’ fate will be determined as she is on trial for witchcraft in the 18th century as the story of this year’s Lantern Tour.

Visitors can arrive for the lantern tours anytime between 6 and 9 p.m. with the last tour leaving at 9 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, nonmembers and members, and $5 for children 11 and younger.

Pancake breakfast, Slovenian polkas

On Oct. 19, Bakerstown United Methodist Church invites the community to hear members of the Western PA Button Box Club play traditional Slovenian Style polkas and waltzes during a Pancake Breakfast. Come enjoy the music while having your choice of blueberry, buckwheat, chocolate chip or plain pancakes served with sausage, bacon, eggs, home fries and drinks. Breakfast is served from 8 to 11 a.m. and the price is $6 for adults, $3 for ages 6-12, and children under 6 eat for free. The church is located at 5769 William Flinn Highway in Gibsonia.

Good Stuff Sale

Christ Episcopal Church will hold their annual Good Stuff Sale on Oct. 18 and 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The sale includes close to 30 tables where a multitude of items will be sold by individual church members and vendors, including crafts, specialty soaps, collections, home goods and the “Big Big Bake Sale.”

Free admission and parking.

The church is located at 5910 Babcock Blvd., Ross. All proceeds will benefit the food pantry.
