On Nov. 1, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., at Hampton Community Library, children ages 4 to 6 can explore the world of physics, biology, architecture, coding and more with STEAM kits and challenges that are age appropriate.

Soup making contest

The inaugural (No) Soup For You! contest will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Hampton Community Center. Soup making contestant entry fee is $10. Attendance tickets are $10, kids 5-and-under are free. BYOB allowed. There will be a bread sale and tree raffle too. Registration has begun.

Epworth United Methodist

On Nov. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m., Epworth United Methodist will be hosting a spaghetti dinner. Available for eat-in or take-out, there will be spaghetti with meatballs or sausage, tossed salad, Italian bread, dessert and a beverage.

The cost is $9 for adults; $5 for children 5 to 12; and free for kids under 5.

The church is located at 1300 Burchfield Road, Allison Park.
